Fiji Arrival Information

The main entry point into Fiji Islands is via the Nadi International Airport, which handles around 90% of all visitors. Nadi Airport is located on the western coastline of the main island of Viti Levu. Nausori Airport, about 30 minutes drive out of the capital of Suva, is also an international entry point, and is located on the island's south-east coastline.
  • Vaccinations - No vaccinations are required except for yellow fever and cholera if you are coming from an infected area. The import of plants, animals and associated products is strictly prohibited. Any foodstuffs must be declared on arrival.

  • Time - Fiji Islands is 12 hours ahead of GMT (London), and there is no summer time change.

  • Currency and Money Exchange Fiji trades in the Fiji Dollar. Check at this currency converter to find the current rate of exchange for your own currency.

  • Departure Tax - Visitors are required to pay a departure tax but this should be included in your ticket. Check with your travel agent or airline.
